Build a Family, Save the World

God told Adam and Eve “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”(Genesis 1:28). This command is for our good and for the good of the whole world. Men and women are to marry, to raise children in the knowledge and instruction of the Lord, and fill the whole earth with His glory!

God created the natural family to make His glory known throughout the whole earth. So, one could say "as goes the family, so goes the world". Today, our society considers the natural family to be a burden, not a blessing. Therefore, the burden is on the church (who is the prophetic voice in the world) to restore the glory of the natural family. The need of the hour is for every Christian home to be a Christian home. Husbands are called to lead and love; wives are called to submit and respect; children are called to honor and obey. When all of this is done in faith, God is pleased.

The 2023 CityGate Bible conference will remind us of how the natural family is a critical component in God's plan to restore His creation. Join us for robust psalm singing and faithful preaching!
