John and Cherie were married in 2005. They have been blessed with five children, as well as a dog named Kona. The Gilfillan family has lived in the Kalamazoo area since 2006. John and Cherie enjoy meeting new friends, visiting old ones, and making the best of every situation.

Cole and Zayda grew up at the same church in Kalamazoo and married in 2017. They are the happy parents of Lewis, Geneva, and Halle, with more to come. Cole works as a Private Wealth Advisor in Grand Rapids. The Brandon family's favorite activity is participating in whatever someone at CityGate is doing.

Mike and Becky grew up together at Bethel Baptist Church in Kalamazoo and were married in 2006. They have four children: Lucas, Leah, Audrey, and Hope. Mike works for a Disaster Restoration company in Kalamazoo and Becky takes care of the family from home. They enjoy being outdoors and active, as well as serving the church and loving people.

Adam and Ivonne grew up going to school and church together and were married in 2007. They have been blessed with three children: Isaiah, Levi, and Claudia. Adam is a teacher at a local high school and Ivonne works as a professional counselor in the Kalamazoo area. The Snider family was one of the founding families of CityGate Church. They enjoy living in covenant community with fellow believers, sharing the faith that unites them through the power of the Gospel.
